to me
An open letter for everyone who will just start their adulthood!
I am so proud of you! I am sure that you’ve been through a lot and I know that you passed all those with your head up high.
However, I want to remind you that this is just the beginning of everything. This will be the start of so many rejections, trial and error and so many disappointments.
You will apply to a company you are dreaming to work with but they will reject you and you will be hired to a job where you don’t have knowledge and experience with, that’s okay, everything can be learned. You will be judge with some of your colleagues, that’s okay, you don’t have to please everyone. You will have to live far from your family, again that’s okay, you can just have vacations. You will have to let go people and again that’s okay, not everyone are meant to stay.
Everything will just be okay with you, because you’re too excited for adventures and life’s surprises.
But one day, you will get tired, your work place will consume you, you will eventually adapt your colleagues’ attitudes and lifestyle, you will cry at night missing your family, you will miss your friends and you will get discouraged from all the chaos around you, but take heart!
It is never too late to be who you want to be. You will always have a choice and there’s always a way out and don’t get envy with everyone around you for achieving their dreams. We have different time frame.
Find your purpose, your joy and most importantly, walk with God, for we are nothing without Him, He is the best foundation. And I believe that God placed us in places, situations and He let us meet people for a reason, a season and for a purpose, we just have to ask Him His wisdom so we can see and understand what He wants us to do.
God has so much in store for us.
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:21‬
