Acceptance

When you try to place a dot in a bond paper, stick it to the wall and stare on it for a minute. I bet the first thing you’ll notice is the dot, no matter how small or big it is. Its reality, no matter how you’ve been good to people, what’s always being seen is your imperfection. What’s always being observed is your flaw.

Let’s accept it, in this world, everyone commit mistakes. Everyone has its own story and no one has the right to judge an individual because of what they heard or seen. Your story is your story; your feelings will always be valid because it’s you who feels what is what. But we can’t stop people from thinking what they want to think about us. We can’t stop them from being curious about what happened, “why she is like that?”. But they never asked their selves “what is the story behind that person from doing such mistake?”.

As an individual, always keep in mind that you don’t owe anyone an explanation. You don’t need to consider what other people would say before deciding on what you want to do. You don’t need to seek validation for everything because you know what’s good and bad for you. You know what will make you happy. Always remind yourself that your life was given for its purpose, you are alive for a reason. You were not given by God to impress other people but you are a blessing to people who loves you and who will accept you no matter how imperfect you are.

If you fail, it may disappoint other people but always take that failure as a lesson, as a stepping stone and a guide for your brighter day. Don’t always think about what others will say even if it might hurt you – remember they didn’t know the entire story, they didn’t know what it feels like being in your situation.

Life is full of surprises, good or bad. But the challenging part is how you will be able to cope up with all the things that come along the way. How you will be able to make the darkness into a brighter one. No matter how bad the experience was, how hard it was for you to reach the finish line for that obstacle – life is still beautiful. In French “La Vie Est Belle” means Life is Beautiful. I had this as my second tattoo at my back left part of my body. People ask me why, and I just tell them that Life is beautiful while I smile looking at the eye. This tattoo reminds me that no one promises that this world won’t hurt me, but whatever it takes, no matter how many times I have my eyes wet for crying in sorrow and in pain, we should not forget the good times. The blessings that we receive from God is a sign that he is there beside us and that we just trust the process and be faithful and that’s where you can feel and see how beautiful life is.
