An Open Letter to the Man I am Secretly Praying For
In the distant time, I just found my self praying not for me but for you.
I am not certain of what you’re dealing with now. I don’t even know where you are and who you with. I just know little about you – that you are kind, bubbly, behaves well in public, and that you are faithful as a child to his father. I was attracted with those characteristics you possess. You really are worth praying for. But, consider these reasons why you are over qualified to be prayed for:
Firstly, the love you have for your family. Having pure affection towards our family is obviously rare in our generation. Sometimes teens tend to choose friends or vices over family. But you, you are different because you endure your own cross in following Him for your family. Breathtaking, isn’t it?
Secondly, your loyalty to your friends. We have family, we have friends, and then we have friends that became our family. I know doubtlessly that your colleagues are fortunate enough to have you. You’re one of the clowns or maybe one of those whose laughters are louder and beyond the volume limit of an audio speaker. And you look so adorable with that.
Thirdly, I love the way you show your side of being passionate. Photography, dancing, playing instrument, singing, cooking, or maybe eating 😉. I cannot identify where you wholeheartedly put your passion but I know you are good at it, best at it perhaps. Is it impossible for me to be proud of you? No. I am and will always be proud of you.
Lastly, I’m amazed of how you deeply are in love with God. I may be unaware of where you are now but I know you untiringly praise and worship the Lord in your hardest downs and sweetest ups. You know you need to be still because He will fight for you and that you worry about nothing because in your deepest ocean, you acknowledge Him as Life Guard who walks on water. As you lift your hands and surrender your heart to praise Him, I see the certainty that the same hands and heart will also take care for the woman God has prepared whom it should belong. How I pray that she would be me!
You are worth praying for. I look forward to meeting your family, your colleagues, to pursue the passion the same with you, and to see us praising and worshiping the Lord together. Isn’t it the sweetest?
To the man I am secretly praying for:
I haven’t met you yet, but I am praying for you. I will see you soon then.
