It’s a beautiful morning you woke up to the sounds of the rain hitting the asphalt ground and the cold shiver running up your spine.
The skies are dull. Still, it’s a beautiful morning, indeed.
You whisper a prayer as you lay down on your bed or maybe do your daily plan of devotional for the day. Maybe it’s not your usual daily routine perhaps you tend to forget but a conversation with God and reading the Bible would surely make a difference.
Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up with our chores or daily routine in the morning and forgetting God in the process.
Some people don’t like rainy mornings but some people love it. You have to wake up to rainy days to appreciate the sunny days.
But God is still good even if it’s not the usual morning that you wake up to.
God is still good even if you woke up in a hurry from oversleeping and now you’re rushing to work or school.
God is still good even if you’re stressed out from cooking your breakfast in a hurry and burning them in the process.
God is still good even if you’re stuck in traffic to you it might be a daily routine.
But to God, He is still giving you a new day.
From the moment that you opened your eyes even if you couldn’t sleep properly the night before.
He is still giving you new opportunities to seize all for his glory.
For a writer or a poet, it’s a blank page
For an artist, it’s a blank canvass or a new subject to capture
For a mathematician or a scientist, it’s a new formula or problem to solve
For a teacher a new day to pass on their learning to their students
For a student, a new day to learn despite the hardships
For a mother or a father, it’s a new day to care and love their family
Don’t let your God-given talents go to waste. Use it to give him praise!
God is still giving you a chance to do his will and for you to serve his purpose no matter who you are or where you at.
Every morning you wake up because He is not yet finished with your story.
No matter what kind of morning you wake up to in your bed or somewhere else.
Be grateful and glad even in the midst of a trial or a joyful season.
He is still giving you a new chance to love and pursue him back!
Stop for a while and breathe in the grace and love our God is pouring for you.
It’s a new day and gives thanks with a grateful heart.
Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
