Behind the Façade (Entry #2)

I would like to say sorry for lying

To God and the people who are asking

For whom this poem I am dedicating

But it is only for you I’m saying

This is from the person you can’t see what’s behind

Feelings are being expressed from the inside

My mouth can’t speak about what’s been on my mind

So instead in this writing you will find

I have worn an armor that is of most durable

However, the strength of your aura made it unbearable

The arrows fired at me, I’ve tried repelling

Yet, I overlooked. It’s already piercing

As I have become aware

That there’s something in the air

To come near you, I would not dare

Because I don’t want to care

It may take a while before I reminisce

But as of now, I will seal the box of our memories

Now, I have to put this feeling into an end

For everything, thank you, my friend
