Dusk and Dawn

It’s 3 AM and you wake up feeling lost. You don’t know what to do. You don’t know where to go.

It’s 3 AM and you’re struggling. You can’t find your way. You realized that the world is too big and somehow you’re scared of the idea of how you will fit yourself in. It’s in these moments where your thoughts are flooding your mind and you can’t help but pen them down because a paper and a pen has always been your companion through every season you’ve been through. This is where you fall in love with the company of silence. It gives you the chance to talk to yourself and allow you to deal with your thoughts. It embraces you and you come to appreciate its kindness. Knowing that there is still a lot of possibilities, the raging storm inside of you is starting to fade.

It’s 3 AM and you want to do everything you’re passionate at. But somehow you don’t how to start. You’re already losing hope that you will breathe life into your imagination.

It’s 3 AM and you just want the time to stop. To stay that way, so you can dive deep into its stillness. Giving you hope that the world can also be a quiet place.

The truth is, we love the serenity that the twilight brings. We find solace in its arms. That is when we fully understand that after the commotion, the world still gives reward to the brave. Those who are brave enough to face every storm that will come tearing down everything on its way. Brave enough to know that no matter how wild the storm is, it will just come to pass. At the end of the day, you’ll see yourself still standing amidst of the ruins that the storm let you with. You have to applaud to your own victory. You made it. You survived.

It’s 3 AM and you’re starting to hope again. To hope for the best. To hope that the time will come you will reap all the fruits of your failures.

And here you are, waiting. Hoping. Praying.
