Heart break is painful. It makes me sad, lonely and makes me feel left out. Sometimes, it cost me as well to question God. Im asking “God are you actually real? Do you even care? You said you love me, but why am I hurting?”
God gave us a promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us. I knew it. But somehow, I dont feel secured. It seems that God’s promise was erased by the hurt and the loneliness. It doesn’t feel true.
When Jesus died on the cross and resurrected after three days, He purchased the victory for you and me. He defeated the sin and the curse of death was broken so that we can have a meaningful life for all eternity.
But somehow, I live as if I am still defeated! No victory at all. No joy at all.
In the midst of my brokenness, I find hope in the Word of God. Scripture said that God is close to the brokenhearted. In my weakness, He can be my strength.
Yes it may not feel true sometimes, but my feelings doesn’t erase the truth. It will forever stand regardless of what I feel.
God is in control. God is almighty. I can be secured in Him.
The Lord is faithful to forgive, and He is willing to heal us. You’re brokenness is an avenue for God to show that He loves you, and He cares for you.
Today, I ask God to refresh me. To refresh my soul. To bring back the joy of His salvation. To put me back on track.
We can depend on Jesus, because He himself experienced being broken, rejected and left out. And remember, Jesus already overcame the world, take heart and stand victorious. If you already accepted Jesus in your heart, Jesus lives inside of you, so it will never be hard to be victorious! We can find victory, hope, joy, peace, and love in Jesus!
