Irony of Life: Healing Hurts

Dear You,

The memories, the people, and you.
It can either make you or break you.
It can help you make it through the path or can make you just give up. You know what’s the irony of life? It happens when you start making choices for yourself again. It happens when you choose to live again.

Sometimes when you’re healing, it begins to hurt the most. When you need to face everything you’ve escaped from, it will hurt the most. When you experience stuff that you’re avoiding, it will always hurt. But in the midst of hurting, you may find healing. In the midst of the pain, you may find joy. In the midst of the shattered pieces, you may find yourself rebuilding. In the midst of bitter truths, you may find sweet beginnings. In the midst of failures, you may find grace. In the midst of death, you may find life. In the midst of all else, you may find love. Because it’s always up to you. You may or may not, it will always rest upon what you choose.

The memories, the people, and you.
It can either make you or break you.
You may. You may not.

Love,

Aubrey
