Love Never Fails

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hope, always perseveres. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

Love will never fail because God never fails. He is eternal, and so his love will last for eternity (Isaiah 40:20)

Love Never Fails. If it fails, it wasn’t love…

Love isn’t that butterfly, warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you’re with that person, or the looks of the individual. If you say you love him/her because of the way he/she makes you “feel”, this is not love.

Love means forgiveness. Forgiveness is what causes love not to fail because it has no ends it neither runs out or expires.

You must learn to forgive each other, it is the only way love will stand with each and every one.

When it appears that love has failed us. Remember that it’s ok to mourn the difficulties and lack we might feel. This hurt is part of what reminds us that we were made for wholeness, for a love that is higher and unbreakable.

But when you mourn, remember: God intends to restore what was broken. He heals the broken-hearted and bandages their wounds.– Psalm 147:3

Love,
