Not Now

When I say “not now”, know that it’s not because I don’t like you. The truth is that so many feelings are brewing within me.

When I say “not now”, know that it’s not an easy decision for me. If I could only spend every moment talking to you or being with you, then I would. But, I’ve had my fair share of confusing things in the past for me to know that investing too much on us will bring attachment. And that attachment will be unhealthy if we cannot back it up with intention and commitment yet.

When I say “not now”, know that it’s not just an excuse to get rid of you. I really hope that we can fix ourselves individually and fix our exisiting entanglements before we even consider any possibility between us. I want us to start right if ever.

When I say “not now”, know that it’s not just an excuse to get rid of you. I really hope that we can fix ourselves individually and fix our existing entanglements before we even consider any possibility between us.

When I say “not now”, know that it’s not going to be just you doing work during the wait. I will be working on myself as well and will be surrendering the details of “us” to the Lord so that He can orchestrate His will.

When I say “not now”, know that it’s not a random proclamation. This is me, being obedient to God’s leading that it is not yet the right time for love to grow.

I say “not now”. But I really hope our time is someday soon.
