Dear future husband
It’s Friday in the afternoon, I have this urge to write this letter to you. I have taken my daily devotion to God this morning. My message this morning is about prize and love. You are the one who first popped in my mind. My husband. The rib where I came from. God said that we will be a team. A family. We’ll carry each other’s burden.
So I’m writing this to you because I’m in a battle. I’m at the midst of a painful experience and depression. My love, I’m at my lowest pit. There are days that I cannot eat, I cannot get out of the bed and struggle to finish at least one chapter of the book. Please pray for me ,bear with me and wait for me.
My love, I don’t know when you will read this. I want you to know that I’m still hopeful for God’s plans. I still hopeful to see you, my husband, my partner and the father of my children.
I AM HOPEFUL THAT DESPITE MY PAST GOD WILL STILL BRING US TOGETHER.
I’m writing this to you because I love you so much and I want you to know that I am thinking of you even I don’t know how you look like or what are you doing. I don’t even know if you’re single today.
My love, I’m currently untangling myself to the dark past I have. I know that God’s grace will help me and eventually after all of these storms, God will lead me to you. I love you and I will be saving this love for you until I meet you. I’m excited to be with you.
We’ll have our own home, we’ll travel, we’ll have a successful career ladder, we’ll have kids, we’ll have a healthy long life,we’ll build a godly family that will serve the kingdom of God. But even none of these will go the way we wanted to, I promise to hold your hand whenever we face trials of many kinds.
REST ASSURED THAT I WILL STILL LOVE YOU EVERYDAY UNTIL WE’RE OLD AND GRAY
If you get food poisoned when we travel, I promise to take care of your tummy and never go to sleep until your diarrhea stops. I promise to let you sleep on my shoulder or on my lap whenever you get jet lags. I promise to be the first one to appreciate your projects even when your boss doesn’t like it. I promise to give you the best coffee if you need to stay up late for reports. I promise to fix your tie everyday before going to work. I promise to take care of you when you get sick. I will be patient whenever you have anxiety attacks and depressing moments. I will be your crying shoulder. I will catch every tear that will fall from your eyes.
Bright or dark days, I will still love your dazzling eyes and your kindest heart. Whenever you face failure, make mistakes or shortcomings, I promise to love you unconditionally. I will help you cultivate your confidence. I will be your greatest cheerleader in your downfalls. I will lovingly correct you but never shame you. I will full accept and love you including your past.
Most important of all, I will remind you that God is our Lord and our Savior. He is our head. He is everything.
I PROMISE TO LOVE YOU HOW GOD LOVES ME.
He is the love that we should share for the rest of our lives. He will be the head of our family. In every milestones of our life He will always be there.
But for now, my love, He is my husband. He will love me the way I wanted you to love me. He will continue even if you already came. This God never left me. He loves me even in my darkest. He is my husband today, He is my partner, He’s the love of my life.
So whenever you meet me, I hope you’d ask Him first for my hand. Ask permission. Honor Him for He is my first love, true love, great love and everlasting love. And you’ll be my right love at the right time.
He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.
