To Those Who Are Fighting Their Silent Battles:

A four-cornered room. Sleepless nights. Endless thoughts. Unheard cries. Stabbing pains. Chaos. Complex. Lost within those four corners.

It seems that there is no any way to escape. No one to run to. Nobody will ever listen and understand. It feels so heavy and intricate with each passing days and nights. It is painful because you were like stuck and had stayed to that space that you’re not supposed to be.

Then another day has come. A cold breeze morning has wakened you up. A breath of fresh air. Clear blue skies. A ray of sunshine. Chirping birds. Sounds of the nature that feel like music to your ears.

Go! Get up! Pull yourself up and embrace this brand-new day. I know it has been tough again last night but today brings new hope and light. Make today different. Make this day matter. Until you make it a habit to make each day worth it because you, itself is worth it.

I want to honor you today and for the days to come. Yes! Because you are brave and strong. I know it’s not easy. It is not easy to fight those silent battles by yourself. It is not easy to get up from your bed each morning with a heavy heart, empty thoughts and feeling lost but facing it like nothing is happening within you.

I want to honor you for having that amount of faith and certain courage to not give up even though you feel like giving up each day. For continuously embracing the uncertainties. For being patient with yourself and trusting the process that one day everything will be alright and that some things, indeed, take time. For accepting that it’s okay not to be okay and some days won’t really favor your way.

I know that you will feel like it’s easier said than done. But just continue living with that faith within you. Continue to grasp for that even if it feels ambiguous most of the time. Take it one step at a time. Surrender your heart to Him. Pray harder. Pray unceasingly. Pray that He will bring people into your life who will listen without judgment but perhaps, full of empathy and that you may have the courage to open up and trust again. You will be surprised that someone out there is going through the same thing like yours and that you are not alone after all. You have been too hard on yourself, thus, pray that you will be filled with love and forgiveness within you. Pray that He will always protect your peace amidst of all the chaos.

Do remember, that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. A light that will guide you through, no matter what life throws at you. You can get through this because you already did!
