Unspoken words of a flower

Plucked myself out of a wrong system
Fell on the ground without leaves, but stem
Have thorns, but you ignored them
You picked me up and looked at me as if I was a gem

You took me out of that garden
You gave me soil and planted me again
It’s funny, I can hear what your heart has spoken
You didn’t say anything, but I could listen

It’s been a long time since that day
Not only me, but this feeling has bloomed, I can say
I don’t know why I have to feel this way
But I’m sure it was God who gave this anyway

Flowers don’t tell, but they show
I can’t confess right now, but I bet you also know
We never know what lies tomorrow
But we know where this would go
