For Someone Who Belongs To My Future (An Open Letter)

Dear you,

I hope you find this letter well.
I would like to start by saying, Thank you.
Thank you for praying and patiently waiting for me.

I have been looking forward for this day to happen- Where I can finally meet you and tell you how much I love you.
I know things are not going to be as perfect as I imagine upon meeting you.
There will be struggles and challenges along our journey, but I’m praying that you’re the kind of man who will not give up easily.

As early as now, I want you to know that I am far from your “Ideal”.
I ain’t perfect. I’m kind of a mess, but a work in progress.
I got scars and blemishes; I easily get pissed and annoyed.
I always made decision that i might regret later on.
But i want you to know, that i’m also the kind of girl who will keep on choosing you despite the problems and challenges that the universe might thrown upon us.

I will always support you with all your dreams and future plans.
I will not give up on us easily.

By now we both probably been wondering about each other, something like;
What would be the color of your eyes? Your pet peeve and your vices?
Your favorite colors, movies, comfort food and your type of music?
I cannot wait for the day waking up each morning, making breakfast and having coffee together while still wearing our couple pajamas that we got as a gift from our wedding.

I am looking forward to our future fight and small arguments as well something like;
Why do you keep putting your dirty clothes on the floor instead of the laundry bag? Who’s in charged for buying milk today, who will cooked for dinner and many more.
I cannot wait for the day as well, waiting for you to get home while handing me the box of mangoes and ice cream as my weird cravings at ten in the evening.

Soon enough our story is not just going to be about us but it will be with our little one, each night we will tell them a story of,
”How You Met Their Mother” and that would be our Happy Ending.

Patiently waiting,
Significant Other
