Setting Up Your Account

How to activate my account?

Check the Account Activation link in your inbox and spam messages.

Click the Account Activation link you received from us.

Try to refresh your email’s inbox.

If it’s still not working, try using different personal email.

Why I can’t use my iPhone?

The IOS Version will be released soon. The beta version of the app is only available for Android users. Thank you for your patience! It’s worth the wait.

Why there’s no recommended matches in my feed?

Make sure you updated your Dating Preferences in your settings. We will not be able to provide matches to users who have not completed the Dating Preferences.

Verification

Is uploading my ID really needed?

We are asking for ID for verification purposes only and to protect other users from posers and catfishing. Your ID will not be published to other users, parties and platforms in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Our team is working hard to protect your data privacy rights under Under RA10173. However, you can still use our app as an unverified user.

Why was my verification rejected?

Upload a valid ID from our list of accepted IDs. Make sure it’s clear and readable from front and back. Take a close selfie holding your ID and make sure the details in your ID are still readable. Yes, you can smile.

In your Profile Photo, use a recent photo of yourself. Your face should be in focus and there should be no other subject (e.g. text, objects, other people) on your Profile Photo.

Make sure your first and last name matches the details in your ID.

Matches and Dates

How Can I Chat a User?

You can chat with a user when it’s mutual like. The chat dialogue box will automatically open and your status will change from Looking to Getting to Know. If you don’t want to continue the conversation anymore, simply click the Unlike button. Please note that you can only chat with one user at a time. 

How I am matched is determined?

We are giving you potential matches based on your Dating Preferences and Non-Negotiable standards in a relationship (red dot in the settings). We also consider common interests between you and your match, and a mix of miracle!

Why the Profile Photos are blurred?

The Profile Photos are intentionally blurred in the Looking and Getting To Know Stage as a free user. However, your profile photo and of your match will be viewable on the Dating Stage. The early “face reveal” will be unlocked when you become a Premium Account Member.

Deleting Your Account

How to delete my account?

Maybe you already found the one or you just want to leave the platform, we can help you. First we need to verify that you are the legitimate account owner before we can proceed to the deactivation and deletion process. To proceed, go here.

What will happen to my data?

Your Privacy and Safety

How are you protecting my privacy?

All your information will not be shared outside our platform as stated in our Privacy Policy. Hindi rin makikita ng ka-chat mo yung birthday, last name, ID, specific address, and your other sensitive information. Unless during your conversation, ikaw ang nag-exposed ng information na yan sa kanya.

Anong ginagawa niyo sa ID ko?

Only the internal BW Verifier ang may access at nakakakita ng uploaded ID mo. We store it during verification and check if your full name and birthday are matching your information in the app. Mahirap na ma-victim ng mga ninja at catfishing.

It will be deleted and will not be stored in our server for a long-time. But if you made any changes in your User Details, your current verification will be void and you will need to upload your ID again.

User Reporting and Banning

How To Report a User?

If you want to report a user, go to their account and click Report User. At kung ayaw mo na makita yung pagmumukha niya, click Block User.

Bakit ako Na-Ban?

You violated the safety of our users or your account has been reported multiple times. If you think we mistakenly banned your account, appeal here.
