One of the biggest irony that we encountered a lot is the phrase” the simplest thing to say is the hardest thing to do” and that really encapsulates the whole dilemma we always encounter “MOVING FORWARD and LETTING GO OF THE PAST”. It’s hard to fathom and to say that even the strongest person we know bows down upon encountering it, they fall to their knees and it’s hard for them to get back up. Uttering a word will always be as easy as 1 + 1 but it’s much more harder to deal witj than the hardest equation we’ll ever know.
Moving forward has never been that easy and it will never be. It takes time to heal and to forget. Moving forward requires a heavy sacrifice and that sacrifice is something we can’t and will never forget. We need to let go of everything that keeps us attached and hooked up to our old self, it requires discipline and control to let go of the so-called habits that we often do, and constantly remind ourselves that we need to stop living in the past, why? Because there’s more to our present and future. Getting hooked up on our past is a sign of our unwillingness to move forward, always remember that the past is a place of learning, not of living.
Moving forward means that you acknowledge the greater good. Yes it’s painful and difficult process but it’s the right thing to do. Moving forward and letting go is not a sign of weakness and it’s not a failure but it is a milestone, a breakthrough, a lesson and a motivation for you to be a better individual
The best thing about moving forward is that I get to see the horizon and opportunities that I never saw before and moving forward is a step to towards the greater things ahead of us. Let’s keep moving forward, let’s continue to move and to not look back, push yourself knowing that you know that I can’t open a new chapter if you keep on re-opening the last one.
It becomes bearable when we know that He who time cannot contain has a bigger plan for us, that He is wrapping the perfect gift and timing for all of us. That He is preparing us for the right time and on that perfect moment where His will and purpose will be accomplished and fulfilled. He even said it in His words, in Isaiah 55:11 “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but it will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it”.
The road that awaits our journey was never meant to be easy, He never said it will be. But unless we take that first step we’ll be a prisoner of our selves unable to fulfill the things that are laid down each and every step we take. It’s intimidating I know, but the Presence of the one guiding and paving the way for you is much greater than the presence of the one that intimidates you. So, shall we take the first step?
