I know, napaka-general na tanong at maraming sanga-sangang sagot. Pero, why do we actually love? It is a beautiful feeling yet heartbreaking at some point. Are we just filling a void because we are lonely? Meron diyan, siya na, ganoon ba ‘yon? Have you actually asked yourself why you are compelled to love someone? Minsan ang sagot dito has to do with being complete. Could it be na pogi o maganda siya kaya mo siya mahal? We can’t deny it na minsan it has to do with physical attraction. Can we just simply say that we are biologically programmed to do it? Ito na ‘yung usapang pagbubuo ng sariling pamilya. Or is transcendental? It goes beyond and it is something spiritual.
Sa totoo lang wala namang masyadong dapat itanong patungkol sa love. Ang common and specific answer nating lahat ay God is love. God loves us so much. He created you and me in His likeness. Jesus died on the cross to save us because He loves us. He has done a lot to show His love to us and what we can do is show the same love to others.
