I’m afraid to fall.
To fall for someone who is not yet you.
I might be broken again after all.
But I’m more afraid to miss the chance
of knowing it was you.
If it means for me to get closer to you,
I’ll let down the walls.
If it means for me to recognize you,
I’ll choose to be vulnerable.
So I’m opening my heart to love.
To go out from where I am comfortable and take the risk.
Rest assured that it will be guarded.
Not everyone should enter.
I’ll keep it precious, I’ll keep it pure.
So when the time comes
where I will meet you,
I can say..
“Here is my heart, completely for you.” 💕
