Summer’s not over yet, I guess
Just like my hopes for your affection.
Your bright smile last weekend put me in bliss
Like how the sun shines in the morning.
Just like how the sun kissed the clouds,
You made my heart flutter.
Your sinful smile caused it all
And made me hope again.
But then, in the middle of summer, it rained
And washed all my hopes away.
Heavy drops of water poured on me
And took me back to reality.
I guess summer is near to its end
But not my unrequited love for you.
Still, I’m glad for that weekend smile you gave
Which made my heart hope again before it rained.
