The Irony of Happiness

Where do you find your happiness?
Is it in the eyes of the one you love? Is it on having everything that you wanted? Is it in the money you get from your boss? Is it on the things seen?

Well some of us will answer yes. Indeed there are tangible things in regards to happiness. But did we realize that there is happiness when we are alone. The kind of happiness that is so rare in the midst of pain or in trouble, or in the darkest hour of life. This is an irony that most us didnt realize. That in pain there is a hint happiness. A paradox that no one would ever want. We always want happy things to be the source of happiness. But the kind of happiness that comes from pain and sufferings is so rare than the four leaf clover. It is like a flower that blooms in adversaries which is the most beautiful.

I see happiness not a state of mind, but a state of life. That no matter what happened, there’s always a reason. That no matter what lies ahead, there is some reason to smile or make a good laugh. I dont disregard the sad points of life.

I see my happiness doesn’t lie on tangible things but on what is unseen. Trust, love, faith and hope. I trust that is why I am happy. I love, I have faith, I hope, that’s why I am happy, because I am able to do this things. I have my family, even we dont have much, I have everything because I have them. My friends, they aren’t much, but I can say, they are the best, that why I am happy.

See, We dont need much to say we are happy, even in little things that we have, or people who are with us, we can say it is enough and happy.
