Maybe one day, we’ll meet again.
In a different place, on a different time.
Maybe we’ll meet again when our lives are less hectic and less complicated.
When that day comes, maybe we’ll be able to understand why it had never worked out for us; why almost had never been enough.
We might be able to figure out what went wrong, how we fell apart.
By then, maybe we’ll be able to have that closure we never had or might be given another chance to start over again.
I don’t believe in fate, serendipity or whatever they call it.
But I believe one day, the universe will conspire.
Once again, our paths will collide. Until then, I’ll be waiting.
