My Constant
I don’t ask for perfect
I need constant.
Not on a daily basis
Rather, an assurance beyond space and time.
I don’t look for perfection
I need constant.
Not just when it’s easy and comfy
Rather, a hand to hold when times get rough.
I will not demand perfect
I need constant.
Not just when I’m at my best
But most importantly, when I’m at my worst.
I cannot be perfect
And so do you.
But we’re in this together
Me and you my constant.
