-Finance over romance
1. Budget before each sahod
Unahin ang savings at needs before wants. Prioritize!
NEEDS – food, utility bills, housing, transportation
WANTS – excessive make-up, piyesa ng sasakyan ulit, additional house décors, etc.
2. Make access to your saved money inconvenient
Kung saan ka komportable:
• Bank savings account – goods naman dito basta itago mo yung ATM card mo or much better mag-pass book ka para di mo talaga magalaw ang pera
• Alkansiya – siguraduhin mong di mo dudukutin ng paper clip, barya man yan o papel
• Coop – hahaha meron ba kayo nito sa company niyo? Ok din dito. Bawal touch move baka magalit mga ka-opisina mo
3. Track your spending
Me: Sahod, where na you?
Also Me: Salamat Shopee!
Also Me: Nasa Lazada yan!
The ending of me: Hahaha huhuhu
Make a list kung saan TOTOONG napupunta ang pera mo. This way mas matututo ka on how to spend and buy wisely lalo na kung dissatisfied ka sa mga pinamili mo. Huwag pabudol!
4. Tweak your expenses
Repurpose your old stuff bago mo itapon or before buying a new one. Be creative in finding ways to spend less.
5. It’s all about paying yourself first
Nope. Paying yourself first is the process of saving for the future you. Single ka man or in a relationship, in the future you may want to further your studies, get married, raise your own family, start a business or buy a house.
Kung ano man ang trabaho mo ngayon at kung saan man napupunta ang pera mo will determine if you have options. Options can give you the freedom to access what is enough and even beyond what your needs or wants are. NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL AS LONG AS YOU START. Do not deprive yourself. Ang MAMUHAY NG MATIPID is a LIFESTYLE and a MINDSET.
Galingan mo sa part na ito, hindi lang pang-date mai-ipon mo pwedeng pang-life time na rin.
