Happy Mess

What is happiness?

It seems like an odd question, but is it? Have you ever think that happiness is the same thing to you as it is to others?

We live in such a beautiful mess world. We always questioned ourselves what’s the point of it all? Does being “Happy” is really that important?

Being “Happy” can have a huge impact on the way we live our lives. But we should remember that being “Happy” is isn’t a long lasting feeling. It would end soon as we expected.

At one time or another in our lives, mostly of us probably felt remorse. And this feeling can cement us in past negative memories and telling ourselves that we should have done better or sooner. This guilt and shame carry a strong burden in our lives. Anxiety and depression will takeover everything and with a snap of a finger our life will be ruined because we continue to replay the emotional state associated with guilt and believing that we are unworthy of making peace with the past.

However, being happy is all within ourselves, in our way of thinking. Our happiness can be chosen. If you want to be happy, you must make a choice to be happy too.

But HOW?

1.Love Yourself

ALWAYS!

Self love will make you happier than ever. By loving the skin you’re in and the soul that you are, will give you the opportunity to live your best life. Amazing right? You’ll also be more driven and motivated in life if you love yourself more.

2.De-Clutter

It is the time to remove the garbage.
Throw away your things…

Nah just kidding.

Never keep anything with you that you don’t need.
This time let’s prioritize things that our mental strength needs. De-cluttering your mind will create more “space” to enjoy inner peace and happiness. As time goes by you will slowly learn that you will no longer worrying about the future; complaints; replaying the past and so on.

3.Stop, Learn, Forgive and Move on

Ah! What we all need right?

Let us all stop for a minute and take a deep breaths and examine our feelings. Reflect on our experiences and take this opportunity to learn the lessons instead of thinking the consequences. Let us also forgive ourselves and the other(s) who hurt us. This may sound possible but let us all try. Lets move on, everyone of us should. Life is too short to hold grudges. Having some drama or conflict is fine. It’s how we get through it, and how we let it impact us that’s IMPORTANT.

4.Detox Digitally

Wait. What?!

Ha! Sounds like an impossible feat!

Let’s admit it. All of us around 98% was addicted to mobile device, computer etc. This things doesn’t even breathe nor have a pulse but we often give it more attention that we give our partners, children, family and friends. The fear of missing out (FOMO) has become pervasive in our society. Craving for that social connection is more important than their own lives and the lives of others. We are so connected with one another through Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and so on. We keep on checking our social media again and again, so we don’t feel left out of the loop right? Unplugging or detoxing digitally is nearly impossible. However, nowadays many people suffer from anxiety, insomnia, and other side effects of technology, you will realize that reducing the usage of technology will be the start of many advantages that can provide a positive effect on your mental health.

5.Surrender yourself to God

Last but not the least.

Let Go and Let God

When you feel helpless always remember that you are not. Take a minute. You just can’t do everything alone. Surrendering all to Him doesn’t mean that He’ll actually take all. It’s just the process of letting go of all the things and feelings that we’re holding way too close. God has a perfect plan and destiny for your life. If you are willing to completely surrender your entire life over to God, the next thing will happen is that He will be setting you up to follow the specific path that He will want you to follow Him – and in that path is you call, duties, tasks and purpose.

We always wonder what is the secret to happiness. Happiness comes when we seek God and obey Him in faith. God not only wants us to be happy, He created us to be happy.

Always remember that when we obey God, we’re not doing it for God – we’re doing it for ourselves because God takes pleasure when we’re happy. (Victoria Osteen, Lakewood Church, Houston)

There is no hard and fast method of staying happy. One cannot remain satisfied all the time. But life and our faith in Him also gives us moments of joy and happiness.

We all deserve to be happy!

You deserve it dear :*
