Hazel Not, This is a Dream

Our lives are not meant to be

You are a princess in the castle of Disney

Soon to be a queen held up high in majesty

Which for me, is a dream of fantasy

And never will be a reality

My life is mundane like an indie film

That will make you insane

Spotlight is not mine

Box office is not mine

I’ll never be your knight in shining armor

Even my heart is already in uproar

So this is a dream, and let us close this soon

Before the sunshines greets Mr. Moon

She will never be mine

Yet my only hope is she’ll find the best guy

Not the better one

I’m not the ideal man

because she’s not the ideal lady

And this is insanity

Don’t forget it’s time to wake up now

From this odd ambiguity….

This is a dream Hazel, this is….
