There’s something truly magical about love. Like it gives your heart that warmth, that heavy deep feeling from your chest that makes it almost hard to breathe. But it’s beautiful. And it’s pure. That even it makes you cry for some nights, it makes you question your worth at times, no matter how it hurts and how much pain you might felt, you will always come back to it. For that wonderful feeling of happiness and bliss that you cannot ever found from anything else. You’ll trade that moment of sadness for a second of happiness. Real happiness. The one that makes you smile differently and it flows throughout your whole being. That everyone else will notice and your laugh will be infectious. Like you can do anything and everything, whatever life throws at you, at that very moment and you won’t even care. Because you’re happy. And complete. Like every void in you have been filled out with contentment. And you wonder what on earth have you done right to feel that kind of peace. That solitude that makes you not ask for anything else. And it makes you feel powerful and powerless at the same time but there’s nothing you will do to change it. Because you accept everything about it. And even if it is unrequited, reciprocated or not, it doesn’t matter. Because love itself is enough. And it is a choice you never even regret. Because even if it becomes painful everyday, it still makes your heart full. Like the feeling of going home after a tiring day. Like the feeling of listening to the soft sound of the pouring rain. That feeling when you cannot think of anything else and your whole soul aches for that very moment. And you will feel a clutch in your heart but at the same time, it is warm, knowing that you can love so deeply and genuinely over and over again and you wonder if it ever ends.
I miss that feeling.
