What breaks your heart?

I guess you could name a few.

Surviving a heartbreak is like trekking in the dessert with no sense of direction. Getting better on a daily basis is a choice that you have to make for yourself. I am so sorry that there’s no word that would make it less painful. You know why? Healing is not held by words but by faith that somehow, the pain will be over.

While you are busy reading this article, try mo rin makinig sa episode namin:

It’s been two years since I had my heart broken by someone whom I thought is the right one. There’s no word that could describe my state of mind dealing with so many voices in my head. I bet everyone who had a heartbreak before could relate on how terrible it is.

We cry.

We grieve.

But here’s the good news: Grieving is a gift.

While I struggle to go on with life, I discovered myself better.

While I doubt my future, I realized how I am deeply loved by my family and friends who believed that I could rise up again, even in slow motion.

While I mourn for the pain, I felt God’s love fighting for me in every little way.

While being broken, I became whole.

So, you little fighter. You might not know it but you’re doing well.

Do something meaningful rather than just giving up.

Chase your dreams.

Be a blessing to someone.

Hang out with your family and friends.

Sing your heart out.

Ignite your passion.

Pray more.

More importantly, believe in love again.
