You don’t want me.
You don’t want me gone either.
You’re sending off mixed signals.
You’re more confused than I am.
I don’t understand.
I wonder what changed. We used to build dreams and a life together. You said you saw your future with me. I do, too. I can see myself taking care of you. I can see myself being with you. I even imagined what it would be like to be loved by you. We both said we would wait. We will patiently wait – for the perfect time, for God’s plans, and for good things to come.
One day, you told me you tried hard to love me but you just can’t. That your heart has hardened over the past years it got broken. I got mine broken too and you know that.
And so I left… I’m used to it anyway. I am so good at it, actually.
Now, you’re here. Again. Knocking on my heart’s door like nothing happened. Like you didn’t hurt me with your words.
I just can’t seem to comprehend how you are doing that. I can’t find the right words to remind you of what you did to me. That what you did was nothing to be proud of. You basically tossed me away but only at a certain distance where you can still reach me. Am I only worth that?
Ladies, if you ever come across a man, run, Run, and never look back.
Don’t let the red flag fool you for red roses and their heart – they’re all red anyway.
Don’t let yourself question your worth because someone is unsure of how they feel about you.
Don’t let them get too close when you know they’re holding the knife for you. Don’t be fooled.
Just don’t.
