When I lost you, my life crumbled. I was lost;
Clueless of who I am without you.
But I realized,
I lost someone who does not take interest in me,
Someone who does not prioritize me,
Someone who treats me like a stranger,
Someone who does not notice my pain,
Someone who does not invest his time in me,
Someone who takes advantage of my love,
Someone who makes me feel worthless,
And someone who is ready to leave at the slightest inconvenience.
But you, you lost someone who cares for you,
Someone who waits for you,
Someone who prays,
Someone who stands,
Someone who protects,
Someone who firstly thinks,
Someone who prioritizes,
And someone who loves you completely.
Thus the time to give you up. I offered and surrendered you to the Lord of All.
This is the best choice. I lost you to find myself again,
To receive the love I deserved,
To be happy and free again,
To know Christ more,
To freely serve Him,
And to love Him and be loved by Him.
I may have lost you, but finding myself and having Christ is my greatest gain.
