What God Always Tells Us That We Always Forget (must read!)

Hello everything! Before anything else, all of these were hugely inspired by different individual, messages and experiences that I have encountered. And of course, by the only book of life (Holy Bible). So what does really God tells us that we always tend to forget? Maybe you would like to start with a prayer and grab any Bible that you have so that you can ready your heart and mind for Him. đŸ€—

1. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:13-15)

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.”

To think about it and to read it over and over again, God said you were already wonderfully and fearfully made. You were created in His image, by God who can only have the highest standard of perfection. But it is just sad to know that it is hard for some people to be contented on themselves and can’t appreciate what God has made for them. Especially when people change themselves for different reasons such as to feel accepted, for example. You are a masterpiece, created by God who is the artist of everything in this world. Always remember that.

2. You are enough. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

“And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.”

You are always enough, even at your loneliest days and disappointing moments of your lives, you are. And that won’t change. For God, you and your love is more than enough for Him. And he is not asking foranything but only you as a whole while here we are asking him for everything we want. How unfair are we? 😩

3. You are worth it. (1 Corinthians 6:20)

“For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”

You were bought with a price and created by God. Therefore, your worth is only found in Him. Don’t seek or look for it to others. That might make you feel more worthless and that isn’t healthy, your mental health matters too.

4. You are capable. (Philippians 4:13)

Honestly though, even I, myself, is just so guilty about this. That sometimes our minds are already telling us that we can’t do this or that but we never even tried yet to know if we can or can’t do something. But whatever it is, Philippians 4:13 tells us that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” You, me and everyone else are more than capable if we just ask the Lord for strength, not only relying on our own capabilities. In addition, Jesus said in Luke 18:27, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

5. You are not alone. (Matthew 28:20)

This might sound ridiculous and easier said than done but Matthew 28:20 is a solid reminder for this, saying “
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” We may not feel it sometimes but He promised he is always there. (*kilig*)

6. You are loved. (John 15:12)

““My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”

Well, I don’t know how to say it but words aren’t just enough to describe God’s love for his children. But I strongly believe that it is like an oxygen that you might not see it but you can truly feel it. It is the love that you can’t compare to anything or anyone else. It is just the greatest, highest and best love of all. So if you may ever feel unloved again, remember that He loves you beyond measure and that is what matters since the source of love is God himself (1 John 4:8). And the moment we remember it, we are also reminded to love others as well. Most importantly, always remember that God is love and love never fails. So if it fails, it is not love. (oops)

7. You are forgiven. (Luke 23:34)

“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”

God forgives and Christ is the best example for this. So many times that we have failed Him but His love and grace still remains for us. If you may have sinned, remember that God won’t hate you. He hates the sin, not the sinner. However, that doesn’t mean that we can just keep sinning and keep doing things that doesn’t please and doesn’t make God happy. And just like how He forgives us, we should also do the same to others. Christ taught us that in Matthew 6:9 “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors,” and added, “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive your trespasses.”

8. You are saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Didn’t you know? Ever since the day God was crucified, you are already saved! It was given to you as a gift and must be treasured just like with any actual gifts that we are receiving. And for God, you will always be saved, as long you believe, surrender and depend on Him with everything. Salvation is not found in no one else, but in Christ alone. (Acts 4:12)

And there you gooo â˜ș There must be something more aside from those but I just want to share what I can remember for now. Hehe. I just pray and hope that you and I won’t forget again about what we are reminded this time.. Stay home and stay safe everyone! And may God be with us all ✹
