Selfless

Selfless not selfish, thats how we define unconditional love. If you love a certain person you believe, trust and cherish them, you dont chain them. You let them do whatever they want, you let them go as they please because you TRUST them. You dont clip their wings because you’re scared of them going away but instead you both free each other up because you BELIEVE in each other.

You let each other grow and not drag each other down. You are not bounded by rules instead you two are free, you feel secure and home when you two are on each others company or even when away from each other. You feel a deep presence within you that they are GodsentYou value the person and puts ego away. You are in love with the person, not with the feelings of being in love. You both are rooted with each other’s soul, with God as your center and not because by pride, like you just love them because you need to.

You are not bounded by conditions, you don’t limit each other instead you let each other explore what they can be and SUPPORT them because you know they can be more. You’re both genuinely happy with each other’s presence not just because of those material stuffs but the most precious gift of all, you give TIME. Love comes to those people who knew and accepts themselves as imperfect person and doesn’t JUDGE each other but they accept and embrace one another as they know that whatever their past or whatever they do, they wont be judged as they feel complete and comfortable with each others arms.
You both are determined in reaching each others goals while supporting each other.
Your feelings doesn’t depend on some unspoken rules. Feelings fade, and so a person does. You’ll never knew you love someone unconditionally until when the feelings is gone but love is still there. Conditional love refers to the word itself, you only love a person because certain conditions has been met.

We often find ourselves asking the difference between conditional and unconditional love but you know what? the answer is very simple, it is written and we already experienced it once and it feels like forever.
JOHN 3:16
The greatest example is how a man Died for us because He loves us. He is willing to sacrifice even His own life just because He loves us and He doesn’t even ask any favors or even ask for a condition. He did it because of pure Unconditional Love.
