Sabi nga sa kantang Lifetime ng Ben and Ben, “was there a lifetime waiting for us, in a world where I was yours?”
Maybe we weren’t meant for this lifetime? Kaya?
This may not be our lifetime, but…
I want to let you know that I still talk to God about you.
I pray to God that may everything be well with you and your family.
I pray that may He give you peace as you patiently wait for the things that He has in store for you.
I pray that may you praise God as you wait for your breakthrough.
I pray that may you grow more in the Lord and be the man after God’s own heart.
This may not be our lifetime, but…
I want to let you know that I still root for you.
I pray to God that may your incandescent love bring life to the people around you.
I pray that may you find joy in everything that you do.
This may not be our lifetime, but…
I want to let you know that I still pray for your happiness.
I pray that may every dawn bring you a day full of delight and wonder.
I pray that may you triumph over the battles that you do and don’t talk about.
I want to remind you that the Lord who began a good work, will be faithful to complete it in you.
This may not be our lifetime, but…
I want to let you know that I pray for your healing.
I pray that the Lord will deliver you from your fears, hurts, frustrations, and disappointments.
I pray that may you continue to cast your worries unto Him for He cares for you.
Whenever you are tired, I pray that the Lord will restore your soul and lead you beside quiet waters.
Whenever you are afraid, I pray that may His rod and staff comfort you.
Whenever you feel empty, I pray that the Lord will anoint your head will oil and your cup shall overflow.
This may not be our lifetime, but…
I will still write poems about you…
It does not always have to rhyme, as long as every word, line, and stanza will be for you.
You will be my favorite poem.
I hope to see you in another lifetime. Until then..
