I felt alone when you found your home in him.
You left me hanging, and I have been crying all along.
My mind gets angry, but my heart says no.
My love for you is greater than the pain that you cause me.
I’m still in the process of accepting,

I was thankful to God in those times; He never left me.
He gave me people that I really needed around me.
They gave me hope and lifted me along the journey.
Those times brought back great memories.
I cannot blame you for what you’ve done.
Maybe it is part of our trial to overcome.
To test our friendship and see how strong it is,
and to determine how we fight for it.
Thank you for those experiences that made me strong and independent.
Now I know how to set boundaries within myself.
I experienced the better version of me,
And you’ve already found your home in him.
