Be unapologetically YOU.

Growing up, I am used to consider other people’s feelings more than my own. Being sensitive is my thing. Overly sensitive that mulling over the words I have said or actions I have done would take days before I get over it.

There was a time when I get to a job where lofty expectations were set. I know I cannot meet some, and mind you, I felt sorry, intimidated and humiliated in a way. Here comes God and His word. Affirming myself with phrases like..

You are equipped to do great things.
You have the DNA of the Most High God. And verses like Phil 4:13 and Romans 8:28 became my mantra.

Emotions and perspective did not change overnight. It is still a work in progress up to this day. But it should be your constant, conscious effort to affirm yourself that you can be better. In those times you felt weak, a fire inside you is burning up driving you to excel and exceed what has been initially thought of you. And during the moment you might feel belittled, judged or ridiculed, unapologetically be yourself. Owning up to your mistakes and shortcomings but deep down inside, striving to better oneself one small win at a time.

You can do MORE. You can be MORE.
