Love hurts. It does. If it doesn’t, then what is the point of all of it? The relationship and all that?
It hurts, because pain is demanding to be felt — so bad. Because in loving, you take risks. Nothing is certain, nothing is ever certain. You take risks of getting hurt by people you get to choose to hurt you – and at the end of it all, you smile, because you know it is worth it. In some weird ways, that is how love gets to be defined. But there is fine line of “worth it ang pain – ang hirap – ang sakit” from “pagiging martyr”!
