My heart just sank after you told me how much I mean to you.
For all these years you have treasured me in your heart

You kept it all by yourself without even letting me know it
All you have back then are regrets and what if’s
We almost had the chance but you were always too late to make it work
We kept fighting back & holding on for what it’s worth
Then ended up breaking each other’s heart, erasing all the possibilities
Knowing that we can never be together coz the odds won’t let us be
Now I tried to put things back to the way they used to be
All the chasing and waiting game this has caught me
My heart felt suddenly exhausted of all the heartaches
And of you not certain of choosing me to stay
I really wish we could have met at some other time
Where troubles & confusions do not hinder us to be fine
Where our decisions can’t make or break us
And all we need to think about is not giving up
Although I want to know which of part is really true
Of how genuine and sincere are you
Honestly, it was short but never blue
Knowing you more was definitely worthwhile
Someday all of these will just be random memories
You & me with our different versions of stories
No turning back & leaving all the regrets behind
Because after all God has set everything for its own time.
