To the love I haven’t met yet,
this is how I’m going to love you.

I’m going to love you like it’s the first time you have ever felt it.

When I say, “I love you”, I mean…
Late night conversations at vintage cafes
Midnight walking while we’re holding hands under the pouring rainstorms
Playing the guitar singing our favorite songs then writing our own music together
And dancing in a wide open field as the moon and stars watch us.

I will love you as if it was the first time I have fallen in love.

You will be the reason why I’d write on a sticky note everyday to tell you how much you mean to me. You will be the person I’m going to pray for each night and tell God that you are the only one I want to pursue for the rest of my life. You will be the subject of my poetry, music, and art because you alone are a masterpiece. You will be the last to break my walls— ones that have been strongly built because of the people who once destroyed me.
I will let you have my heart for you deserve me. You will never regret loving me because I have long saved myself for the best in order to unconditionally love you.

I haven’t met you yet but I will prepare myself and continue praying for you until it’s finally time.

I will love you no matter who you are. I will love you completely despite your imperfections. You are never too much and you will always be enough for me. There may be times wherein we’ll fight for petty things but I swear that I will always apologize when I know I’m wrong. I will stay here until you forgive me and I will correct myself just to avoid doing the same mistakes.

I will cherish every moment when I’m with you. I will always remember how your eyes would sparkle when you smile at me. I want to stare at you all day long because you are absolutely everything I ever want. I will thank God forever for giving me someone as beautiful as you, because you are my undeserved grace.

I will hold your hand when they are trembling, wipe away your tears when you cry, and listen to each of your heartbeats. I will be there to take care of you when you’re afraid of the dark and I won’t ever give up on you. I will never let you go. But if it means you’ll be happier without me, then I will set you free because I want what is best for you.

You deserve my songs.
You deserve my love letters.
You deserve all of my efforts.

I promise to give you the love that you deserve and so.. you deserve me.

I will love you genuinely no matter how hard this will get.
I will fight for you and share my dreams with you.
I will let you pursue me everyday just as I want to pursue you more.
I will support you when it comes to your dreams and goals so don’t be scared to try and achieve all of it because I will help you, big time.
I promise that even as the passion fades in time, I will remind you how all of this started, back when you were all I think about wherever I go.
