Yes, we exist.
However, we’re not out looking for godly women. We’re out getting stuff done for the kingdom. We’re not dating every cute woman we meet, because we are on a mission to do what God has called us to do. That might be discipling other men and boys, serving in our church, or maybe starting or volunteering in ministry. We also spend time alone with God…I would venture to say at least 5 hours a week. Suffice it to say, a godly man is not spending time out “hunting” for women, we have better things to do with our time.
We meet women all the time who are attractive, but we aren’t looking for “just” attractive. We aren’t even looking for nice church-goers who don’t cuss too much.
We’re looking for a partner who takes serving God as seriously as we do. How do we know when we’ve met one? They are out serving God’s kingdom. They are in their communities mentoring girls and helping them see their worth in God’s eyes, instead of trying to live up to the world’s standards of beauty. They are searching for ministries that make a difference, and then becoming part of them. They are living the great commission with their lives.

They aren’t waiting around for a guy to come along and change their life, because God already did that for them. Their conversations with their friends aren’t about their celebrity crushes, they’re about how to make their lives count for the kingdom. They aren’t going to every young adult event Just to see they’re crushes. They may go to those events, but that’s because they’re being fed, led, and growing in their faith. When I see a woman who’s teaching others how to serve and honor God with their lives, that’s attractive! That kind of attractive doesn’t fade. Ladies never forget to make your character and walk with God as beautiful as your outward appearance.
