It was a boring day and you’re busy scrolling on your news feed.
You stopped and pause for a while.
“Why can’t I be like her?”
While you are busy reading this article, try mo rin makinig sa episode namin:
My dear, here’s the sad truth. You can’t be like her.
Because God created you, uniquely as you are.
You are a masterpiece.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. – Psalm 139:14
Imagine yourself as a painting meticulously drawn by its artist. Then after finishing the painting, the artist decided to showcase it to the world through an exhibit. In the exhibit, the painting are seen by the people who visits the museum. Some just passes by while others took their time and make their stare worthwhile. You see, people may overlook you but that doesn’t make you invaluable. For some, the painting is just something to look at. But for the artist, it’s a masterpiece.
Your calling can only be done by YOU.
Have you ever wondered why you possess certain talents that are unbelievable? Hearing these kind of lines from the people around you, “Oh, we didn’t know you excel in that area.” We may not like the characteristics we have, but God carefully picked those for us. For us to pursue our calling – our purpose.
Your identity is secured in Christ alone.
When you think you are worthless – God knows you are more than enough. You are more than those likes and reacts from the social media. Whenever you feel unloved, remember that Jesus died for you – for us rather 2,000 years ago. Whenever you feel defeated – get back up and stand firm. Your crown might fall. People may have overlooked you, but God never will.
I know it’s easier said than done but take heart, the One who created you, molded you is the same God who marveled the stars up above and I don’t think of any reasons sweeter than that.
