Cursed is the man who was hanged in the tree.
It was you Jesus why I didn’t see.
That’s because my heart is consumed by idolatry…your sacrificed felt like nothing to me.
You borne our griefs on that calvary. Stricken, smitten, afflicted because of our iniquity.
You uttered the word Eli, Eli, Lema Sabachthani but you said you won’t forsake nor leave me.
When I accepted you as my Lord and Savoior on that day, I knew for the fact that I am with you in eternity.
Your Lordship is what I obey. How come I miss reading your grandest redemption story? The gospel I can’t anymore convey to the lost people you loved so dearly.
The poorest King ever walked on earth because you rode only on a donkey. But when you encountered the Samaritan woman on the well, you said to her, you will never again get thirsty. What’s the Lord is trying to say? As if I’ve missed the punchline he was trying to relay.
Even If I do your ministry…I know it is not enough because you want all of me. I always fall short to Your glory because I fail you everyday.
But You said even if you have a faith as small as mustard seed Ray,you can move mountains anyway. Like Peter with little faith walked on water gets drowned in the sea.
Lord, you have mentioned the phrase ‘don’t be afraid’ in the Bible like three hundred times to say, hey I got you back son Ray. When you turned water in wine on that wedding day and called woman your mother Mary. Those were the signs and wonders pointing you Jesus as the Son of Yahweh.
Who am I that your mindful of me? When I all I do is to disappoint you everyday. But in spite of it You broke the chain and set me free from the bondage of sin that almost took my life away.
You paid the price on the cross for me, your blood Jesus washed my sins away. You redeemed and ransomed me and when the veil was torn I knew it was all finished on the calvary.
After three days, Lord you rose from the dead to give us hope and salvation that we badly needed. You commanded us the great commission to share the gospel to all the nation. Lord, you are victorious exhorted in the book of Revelation. Jesus, you are the champion.
