Yesterday’s Memory

When you kissed me, you blew me away
When I kissed you, you saw a glow
But that was back then
When our love was fresh and new

Fresh like the air we inhaled
New, like we never expected
Used, as we thought it’s true
But  the love expired, and there’s no effort you put through

Isn’t unfair I was left behind
And it just hurt you don’t mind
I’ll never be enough i guess…
I’ll just always be, your second best
