‘Yong salitang “TRUST” is such a big word for all of us. Sometimes medyo challenging na ibuild ito sa sarili, and most especially sa mga tao sa paligid natin. Siguro like me, you’ve been through a season in your life as well na nagkaroon ka rin ng “TRUST ISSUES.” Siguro because of some circumstances and experiences na na go through mo that have made you question the trustworthiness of other people. I feel you. Broken promises, undelivered commitments, etc., mga bagay na malamang nagbigay satin ng pag alinlangan na magtiwala ulit.
However as the days go by, I have some realizations about TRUSTING that I’d like also to share with you. I have realized na hindi pala okay lang na magsettle for what is broken and unfixed. ‘Yong broken TRUST natin should be regained and rebuilt. We have to believe in ourselves again. We need to have faith in people again. And most importantly, we need to TRUST God fully again.

“TRUST” comes after “KNOWLEDGE.” When we start to fully know the person, we start to trust, right? The same way din sa sarili natin, if we trully know ourselves, our true worth in Christ, our gifts, our capabilities even our weaknesses, mas nagiging madali ang magtiwala ulit sa sarili. Mas nagiging madali ang bumangon at sumubok ulit.
But in this post, I’d like to specifically direct you to one person who is always worthy of our TRUST. ‘Yong isang Tao na sure na sure ako na hinding hindi papako sa mga pangako Niya at sure na sure ako na sapat na sapat pagkatiwalaan mo- si LORD.
Sino nga ba si Lord? 3 Adjectives na gusto kong ishare sa inyo.
He is ALL KNOWING GOD. Alam ni Lord ang past natin, present at future. Kung meron mang taong alam na alam ang kada detalye ng buhay natin, Siya yon. Alam Niya na ang destiny natin, even ang the best person na mapapangasawa natin, alam Niya na ‘yon. The best job and career, the best circumstances, etc. kasi nga ALL KNOWING Siya.
ALL POWERFUL din siya ibig sabihin,’ yong lahat ng imposible ay REALITY Niya na. He has made the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the dead to rise. So walang mahirap kay Lord. Akala mo wala ka ng pag-asa, meron pala. Akala mo wala ka ng magandang future, meron pa pala, nandiyan sa Kaniya.
And lastly, si Lord ay ALWAYS PRESENT, meaning nandiyan Siya in all our SEASONS. Wala siyang namiss na moment sa life natin. He’s been with us throughout the journey. Sabi nga sa bible, He will never leave us nor forsake us. So minsan akala natin we are alone, neglected, rejected, mali pala tayo. Never tayong iniwan ni Lord. Nandiyan Siya all this time, in all seasons. Student ka man, single, married, working, etc.
Kung eto pala si Lord, hindi pala Siyang mahirap pagkatiwalaan. In fact, Siya pala ang the best nating pagkatiwaan in our time of waiting kasi nga sa character Niya pa lang and all the evidences sa Bible, He is very trustworthy and a Promise Keeper.
I’d like to end this by giving you some more reasons why we can TRUST God in our period of waiting. I have used the Acronym TRUST para mas easy niyong matandaan:
T- TRUE TO HIS PROMISES. Hindi Siya Liar.
Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
R- READY TO GIVE YOU YOUR HEART’S DESIRE
Psalm 37:4
“Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”
U- UNDERSTANDS YOUR NEED MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE.
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
S- SINLESS. He doesn’t make mistakes. You are not a mistake. Your season is not a mistake.
Ecclesiastes 3
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
T- TIMELY. He is always on time. Never too early, never too late.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
