Not because I don’t like you anymore
Not because I’m tired
Not because I’m impatient
Not because I’m afraid
Not because of “what ifs”
But because
I started praying for myself first
To never get tired of waiting
To be patient without complaining
To not be afraid of loving again
And to ignore those “what ifs”
