I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me. – JEREMIAH 32:27

I know that there is nothing that is too hard with the Lord when it comes to fulfilling His promises to us. He is never late in fulfilling the purpose he has for us. If the time comes that we are about question the Lord about our hardships, problems and all that we are going through, we might as well question ourselves if we able to accomplish his will or have we tried to listen to Him and I bet most of the time we only listen to ourselves on what are the “wants” that we usually ask; his “plans, purpose, and will” we always set it aside because we are busy questioning the ability of the Lord to move in our lives.

I have lots of fear inside me and little by little it consumes me. It drains the best in me…. The way I think changes and the time will come that that FEAR will become DOUBT… devouring and drowning me.

While you are busy reading this article, try mo rin makinig sa episode namin:

To be honest there are lots of times that I question the Lord about my hardships, i often ask when will the testing end because I focus too much of the things I wanted never did I ask the Lord if it is what He wants for me. Most of the time our focus is the PROBLEMS. Often concluded that the Lord leaves us at times that we needed HIM most, at times that we pray and suddenly we stop – wondering if the LORD really listens and have HIS concern on us. We forgot that the Lord is in control….He is, truly and forever will be. We are so much fascinated with the plans we had for our life that we often forgot to seek the Lord.

I pray and my prayers remain unanswered and because it was taking too long it seems that God had forgotten me and maybe He is not even listening and that made me think that His plans for me is not in the “on going project”.

That at some point the Lord stop doing His work in me and just leaved me, alone. But I was wrong I am a “work in progress” for the Lord and because what I want is not what the Lord wants for me. He stop for a while and taught me the lesson, the lesson were i always got stuck – to listen and wait; “that is not what I have in store for you and you have to learn to TRUST, to have FAITH, BELIEVE in ME.”

It is easy for us -people to always make, take and do the things we want in the fastest way we can, we tend to take shortcuts and detours. We are not fond of waiting and that is true… honestly none of us want to wait for a very long time…. because (my personal experience)

1. Waiting brought uneasiness for me

I always ask “bakit ang tagal nito, bakit ang tagal nyan, pwede namang now na!! Why does it take tooooooo long!! Now na please, please…. minamadali ko si Lord kasi naiinip ako.

the LORD isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake — 2 PETER 3:9

2. Uneasiness will plant the seed of FEAR

I have this thoughts “ala!! baka hindi na mangyari ang gusto ko, baka di ako naririnig ni Lord, baka pagod na sya sa pakikinig sa prayers ko…. i start to think na ayaw ni Lord and every possibilities na pwedeng mangyari.

Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do and he will show you which path to take. — PROVERBS 3:5-6

3. And fear grow as DOUBT

doubts kasi bakit hindi nangyari ito, bakit and tagal na wala pa rin, does prayer really count, parang walang nakakarinig, konti na lang bibitaw na ako LORD —at tinakot ko pa si LORD 🙂 🙂 . Then i will start to waver -my faith starts to stumble and I forgot what are the promises of the Lord for me, his great plans, that he cares for me more that anyone else and most of all that the LORD love me UNCONDITIONALLY (remember JOHN 3:16 first bible verse i memorize but i did not take it at heart, then)

“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts”, says the LORD. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as heavens are higher that the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher that your thoughts. The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. — ISAIAH 55:8-11

4. Doubt will be watered by QUESTIONS of the things we asked that remained unanswered

These are the questions that the enemy wanted to instill in our minds and for some times in my life to be honest I choose to entertain these thoughts. I hate to question God because if I do I am literally questioning his greatness, his power to move in my life and everything that God provided for me even if I am not worthy of it.

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. —JOHN 16:33

What I learned from the LORD is that I should wait patiently. He will fulfill his promises in his time and when I am ready to receive his promises.

Have FAITH and TRUST the LORD. 🙂
